After moving into a house with 3 bedrooms, I knew I immediately wanted to designate one of them as “mine.” I wanted a library and a room to get ready in. The master bedroom is small so there’s no way I could fit a vanity and both mine and hubby’s clothes in the tiny closet. So I came up with… The Library.
Also known as a babe cave, femme den, she shed, etc., The Library is being carefully curated on Pinterest. Right now my clothes are in the closet and my paintings and pictures are leaning against the walls. It’s a blank canvas… that I am not allowed to paint (per landlord) but don’t worry! I have some ideas…

I’ve started planning for the wedding, and it is already crazy stressful. I’ve been ghosted by TWO caterers! Which may end up being a blessing. Thankfully, the venue was a pretty easy decision. It’s very close to my mom’s house in sweet home Alabama.
While looking at wedding dresses (still a bit too soon to actually buy one for the wedding since its 18 months away), I’ve stumbled across dresses I’d love to wear to our courthouse ceremony (pre-wedding), grand exit, and rehearsal dinner. Because of immigration, the Fiance and I will be heading to the courthouse to officially marry (yay!) within 90 days of him landing in Missouri. We still want this day to be special, but I don’t want to spend money on two wedding dresses or even wear a formal wedding dress to the court house.
