Today’s 5FF isn’t listed on the latest GG Packs or on the original list, but I felt like it would fit in well with 5 Fandom Friday and this month’s theme anyway! I’ve gushed about some of my favorite freaky webtoons as well as some of my overall favorites so far. This special edition of 5FF is all about K-Pop, K-Drama, and Korean inspired comics!
I’m back with another Webtoon recommendation. This time is a little different though. This Webtoon is based on BTS’s Universe/Bangtan Universe (BU) which is an alternate universe of the popular boy band. The characters are named after the seven members and are their alter egos. Stumbling upon this Webtoon after searching for some K-Pop and K-Drama inspired comics has lead me down yet another rabbit hole thanks to my new found interest in K-Pop.
Y’all I have fallen hard for the Webtoon app. Ever since discovering Lore Olympus, I have been reading tons and tons of comics created for the platform. There’s so many talented creators that I just knew I had to add Webtoons to the Saturday Suggestions! I want to kick this off with one of my favorite Webtoons right now: Lookism.
Just like last year for the month of October, I am pulling away from my regular 5 Fandom Friday and Saturday Suggestion posts. Every Friday for the month of October I will be presenting my 5 Freaky Faves in honor of Halloween! This week’s 5 Freaky Faves are 5 Webtoons you should give a read if you love the paranormal, zombies, and creepy with a healthy dose of comedy and romance!
Boyfriend of the Dead
She’s a smart, independent young woman who’s kicking ass and struggling to make her way through the middle of the zombie apocalypse. Just her luck: one day she goes out searching for food and shelter and ends up finding a boyfriend instead. And, oh yeah, because modern love isn’t hard enough…he’s UNDEAD! — WEBTOON
No Fast Pass
Updates Every Tuesday & Friday
Perfect for horror fiends who love zombies, romance, and food.
Bizarre Brunette inspired this Friday’s 5 Fandom Friday theme with her post on My Giant Nerd Boyfriend from WEBTOON. I also highly recommend with comic but head on over to her review to see why we both love it so much! Today, I’m giving you five more comics to check out on WEBTOON that I am loving right now!
