Happy New Year, geeks! 2020 was hard year for all of us, and I know I’m not alone in saying that I hope 2021 is kinder and that I’m so glad 2020 is over. We’re not out of the woods yet with the pandemic, and many of us are still struggling, but I’m choosing to look forward to what else 2021 will (hopefully) give us. I hope you will too despite the hand we’ve been dealt.
In the last few years, there has been immense growth on my blog. This past year has been steady with a slight uptick in views and visitors compared to the year before last. I even gained about 300 followers! My YouTube channel also passed 150 subscribers! For someone who blogs and makes videos as a creative outlet and for fun, I feel very happy with the growth I’ve seen. I’ve had to think long and hard about what I want to focus on this year and how 2020 has shaped my future personal and blog resolutions. So let’s look at those 2021 resolutions now.
Annie at Evening Tea Musings came up with this adorable series, and I just had to try my hand at it. Be sure to check out Annie’s blog to grab this cute tag! With some of us back under lock down, I figured I could squeeze out this tag for some good fun. Here’s which anime characters that I’d like for roommates or neighbors in quarantine and why!
Pinkie from Pinkie’s Paradise is at it again with another blog award that I haven’t been tagged in before! If you just happen to not know who Pinkie is, she is the kindest and most entertaining blogger who writes about her love of Pokemon, anime, video games and other geeky things. Thanks again Pinkie for the nomination!
In September, A Geeky Gal was nominated for The Kore Wa Watashi Award by Pinkie at Pinkie’s Paradise! Pinkie is back again with another original award! If you just happen to not know who Pinkie is, be prepared to meet the kindest and most entertaining blogger who writes about her love of Pokemon and other geeky things like video games and anime. Thanks again Pinkie for the nomination and for creating this award! It’s very much appreciated!
In July, A Geeky Gal was tagged in the Have You Ever? Gaming Edition tag by Pinkie at Pinkie’s Paradise! Thank you so much, Pinkie! There are no rules for this one, but I want to give a shout out to Michelle at A Geek Girl’s Guide for creating this cool tag!
