Anime Challenge Day 27: What anime character are you most like?

Anime Challenge Day 27: What anime character are you most like?

If you have been reading my blog for awhile, you’ll know I did a blog post on 5 Characters I Most Identify With, which included a few anime characters. Rather than feeling like a cheat and using one of those I decided to really dig deep and look at myself and some of my favorite anime to come up with a real answer. In all honesty, I’m most like Moka Akashiya from Rosario + Vampire.

Anime Challenge Day 26: Who is your favorite anime villain?

Anime Challenge Day 26: Who is your favorite anime villain?

Another HARD question. Man, what was I thinking when I made these questions? I just didn’t realize how many favorites I have! So when I think of villains, I don’t just think of those that are straight up evil (looking at you Naraku from InuYasha) or straight up annoying (you can see that post here). Instead I picked a villain that may not be a villain at all… Hell Girl.

Anime Challenge Day 25: What is your comfort anime?

Anime Challenge Day 25: What is your comfort anime?

My comfort anime is something I turn to when I need to feel happy and content. It’s also an anime that I won’t get tired of re-watching. A few anime to mind when I thought about today’s question but one stood out from the rest. It’s hilarious and full of good feels. That anime is Ouran High School Host Club!

Anime Challenge Day 24: What anime had a big emotional impact on you?

Anime Challenge Day 24: What anime had a big emotional impact on you?

When I first really got into anime, I found a group of people in middle school who understood me. They quickly became my best friends and introduced me to so much more. Like manga. My very first manga was the second issue of InuYasha. I loved it so much that I sought out more manga, which landed me on Chobits. I never did find all of the volumes for it so when the anime came out, I knew I had to watch it.

Anime Challenge Day 23: What anime do you wish never ended?

Anime Challenge Day 23: What anime do you wish never ended?

Today I’m picking an anime that I haven’t seen many people talk about. You all know how much I love a bitter sweet anime, but do you also know how much I love horror? The anime is currently on Netflix, has one season, and, of course, has a Saturday Suggestion post already here on A Geeky Gal. That anime is Ghost Hunt.

Anime Challenge Day 22: What anime has the saddest death scene?

Anime Challenge Day 22: What anime has the saddest death scene?

Major spoilers ahead! Literally spoilers all in this post past the image… So I watch a lot of sad, tear-inducing anime. I love bittersweet stories and having a good cry into my popcorn bowl. I mean, who doesn’t? The saddest death scene I’ve ever watched was in Sword Art Online: Mother Rosario. If you’ve seen that season of SAO, you know exactly what’s about to happen.
