Saturday Suggestion – Game: Catherine Full Body

Saturday Suggestion – Game: Catherine Full Body

Catherine is by far one of the weirdest yet most addicting games I have ever played. I wanted it as soon as it came out simply because I’m all for choice-making games and puzzles that make you think. It’s definitely not for kids though as innocent as puzzles sound. I’m sure by now you know how much I love a good romance, but you know what spoils it? A love triangle. So… who will you choose? Katherine or Catherine? — A Geeky Gal, Saturday Suggestion – Game: Catherine (2014)

You’ve probably heard of or at least watched Avatar: The Last Airbender. What most people haven’t done yet, but totally should, is watch its sequel: The Legend of Korra. Korra is the latest reincarnation of the Avatar, a person who can bend all of the elements which includes water, air, earth, and fire and is responsible for keeping balance in the world.

My Pirate Crew Tag

My Pirate Crew Tag

When the World Government executed notorious pirate Gol D. Roger he announced that he’d hidden all his treasure in one place and whoever finds it gets to keep it all. This saw the beginning of the Great Pirate Era and, like most others, you would probably love to make that treasure your own.

To do that, you’re going to need a crew. Admittedly, this is based on my experience watching One Piece, however, you don’t have to have seen One Piece to join in. You will need to assemble a crew from the anime you’ve seen, selecting the best character for the positions. — Lynn Sheridan

Lynn tagged me in this very neat Pirate Crew Tag he created awhile back, and I have finally gotten around to it! Thanks for the tag Lynn! If you’re new to Lynn’s blog, definitely check out his books here!

The T.A.P. Tag

The T.A.P. Tag

A Geeky Gal was tagged for the T.A.P. Tag by Winter Reverie! Winter is an awesome writer and a fellow lover of anime. You should take some time to explore Winter’s blog! In fact, Winter has taken on my very own 30 Day Anime Challenge as well. Check it out here! Thanks again Winter for the tag. It’s very much appreciated! The premise of this tag is something I’ve never done before so I’m excited to try it out! Winter also brought up something really cool… would you guys like to see me try this out on video games too? Let me know in comments!

Anime Challenge Day 30: What anime did you think you wouldn’t like, but ended up loving?

Anime Challenge Day 30: What anime did you think you wouldn’t like, but ended up loving?

I’ve never really enjoyed anime with a ton of fan service. Sure, sometimes it’s funny, but it’s almost never crucial to the actually plot. When I was introduced to High School of the Dead, I truly didn’t believe I’d watch it past the first episode despite it being a classic zombie horror anime. Something about big butts and bouncing boobs didn’t exactly sound like my type of anime. I was wrong.
