Fawkes the legendary Phoenix has to be one of the most fascinating magical creatures to me. The Phoenix symbolizes rebirth, renewal, and strength. According to Dumbledore, the Phoenix’s tears have healing powers and it also makes a highly faithful and loyal pet. It also regenerates each time is bursts into flames, giving it an immensely long life — some say it lives forever. The phoenix means a lot to me as it has become a symbol of my mental health journey.

In Care of Magical Creatures class, we’re discussing magical creatures that we find the most fascinating! Feel free to tell us what creature(s) you think are the most fascinating in the comments below OR take on the challenge yourself and link back to this post so I can see your answer!

  1. Nifflers and Unicorns.

I mean I like ducks and actually Platypus as well and I like creatures who do random things so that is pretty set. The Unicorn is very on brand for me a well plus I do like the curse thing. Since my health is fragile I think it would be a very interesting temptation for me to have.
