If you’re interested in participating in the Harry Potter Challenge, read this post here! Each day I will be posting a question for that day for the next 30 days. When I reach day 31, I will release all 30 questions in a single post with links to all of my answers. Follow along each day with your own post or feel free to wait until the entire challenge has been released and take it on whenever you like! Be sure to link back to the master post at the end or link back to each post for each day.
Day 16 – Transfiguration: If you were an Animagus, what animal would you be?
Being an Animagus is different from Transfiguration, but Hogwarts students learn about Anamagi in their third year Transfiguration class. Today we are going to discuss what animal we’d be if we were an Animagus! Much to my dismay, I don’t get to just pick an animal. Usually, the animal you can transform into is one that closely fits your character and personality, and it can also even be the same as your patronus according to some sources.
I decided to dive into the internet, take a bajillion quizzes, and look up what my enneagram type is as an animal to try to get more of a feel of what animal I am most like in character and personality. I have settled on a dog. A Great Pyrenees to be more specific. Great Pyrenees are one of the most loyal dog breeds. As a “loyalist” and “guardian” according to my enneagram type, I think a dog like the Great Pyrenees fits my personality pretty well.
In Transfiguration class, we’re discussing Animagi! Feel free to tell us what animal you would be in the comments below OR take on the challenge yourself and link back to this post so I can see your answer!
