When I reach day 31, I will release all 30 questions in a single post with links to all of my answers. Follow along each day with your own post or feel free to wait until the entire challenge has been released and take it on whenever you like! Be sure to link back to the master post at the end or link back to each post for each day.

Day 2 – What is your Hogwarts House & is it fitting?

I have been sorted into Ravenclaw House according to Pottermore! Ravenclaws possess the traits of cleverness, wisdom, wit, intellectual ability, and creativity which I think does suit me very well. Like Rowena Ravenclaw, I also value learning and academics. Ravenclaws are not just known for their outstanding intelligence though; they also are known for their individuality as well as acceptance of people and things that others would consider “weird.” This another trait I would say I identify with!

However, I do think that if I were to dig deeper, I think I might be closer to the Slytherin House. Slytherins are usually known to be cunning, ambitious, and have a tendency to look after their own. Slytherins are always striving to be the best, something I (and other Ravenclaws) also do, but Slytherins will never leave their own behind. Ravenclaws have been known to backstab other Ravenclaws in academic competition. The only thing that really stops me from wanting to claim Slytherin as a partial Hogwarts House of mine is the snakes. I have a snake phobia, and I don’t say that lightly.

What is your Hogwarts House? Do you think it fits you? Let me know in the comments below OR take on the challenge yourself and link back to this post so I can see your answer!

  1. High-five, fellow Ravenclaw! Yes, I think it fits. I do have a thirst for knowledge, and I am definitely weird…

  2. Oh em gee I am a Hufflepuff. At first, I didn’t wanna be one to the point that I tried changing my answers but I’ve come to terms with being a Huffie and I am loving it! I got myself the badges and whatnots when I visited the Universal Studios last year… The fact that it keeps giving me the same results, perhaps it does fit with my personality…

  3. I am so not shocked that you’re a fellow Ravenclaw 😀 I actually got Slytherin originally when I first signed up to Pottermore and then several years later when I did it again I was put into Ravenclaw. I’d done a lot of healing between those two periods so my personality had changed to the point that it got me placed in another house.

  4. Hahaha I love Ravenclaws! I’m pretty sure it’s my second house haha 😛 And I’m a HufflePuff! Apparently it’s quite obvious as every Potterhead I meet assigns me this house and they’re never surprised when I tell them they’re true! 😂

  5. I am Ravenclaw, although I think I would have the courage to ask and be placed in Gryffindor, if I ever wanted to be in that House. I like to think that between the trio, Ron, Hermonie, and Harry represent the other three Houses, despite being placed in Gryffindor. Hermonie is Ravenclaw, Ron is Hufflepuff and Harry is Slytherin. They got placed in Gryffindor because they had the courage to ask for it. Which is one of the main traits of being a Gryffindor. At least that’s what I think.

But, the reason I’m a Ravenclaw is because i am book lover, and love learning.

  6. I’m a Gryffindor according to the Wizarding World website and a number of Buzzfeed quizzes, and I’m so late to this challenge, but….yeah! It’s fitting for me because I’m bold and I don’t really think when I do something, I think about it after. I am weird, I know.
