When You’re Asleep

I miss you when you’re asleep,

Even when I know you’re dreamin’ of me.

One day, I will lay beside you and know

That this life is all mine, without woe.

 

I don’t have to dream or wish anymore

Or even wait for an opened door.

 

I will already have you right here in my heart;

We’re just waiting for our new life to start.
