Hello readers! In case you have no clue what’s been going on at House Geek since the 30 Day Anime Challenge, we’ve been preparing for our wedding on October 13th. “But you’re already married,” I hear you say. Yes, that is true!
Alec and I were married last October in Forest Park in St. Louis, MO with an officiant and two friends who acted as witnesses and photographers. We knew we’d want a wedding one day that all of our friends and family could attend. Especially those far away in Ireland. Due to everything we were going through with immigration, we knew we’d need some time to save up and make plans for what we wanted our wedding to be like.
We saved diligently for a year, and we’re very happy with our plans for our wedding in ten days. I did a ton of research and some of that bled onto the blog. Here’s a few geeky wedding and honeymoon posts for your pleasure!
- Disney Couple Tees
- Geeky Wedding Items under $50
- Geeky Engagement Shoot Inspirations
- Budget Friendly Plus Size White Dresses
- Budget Friendly Simple Wedding Centerpieces
And, of course, after the wedding wraps up, I’ll plan a wedding follow up post with all of our details and photos galore so you can feel like you were a guest too!
So what does this mean for the blog during October?
October 6th to the 16th I will not be blogging. I want to be 100% present during this amazing time with our family and friends so comments may take additional time to be approved and replied to. Possibly days! I apologize in advance to all of you. I work very hard on my blog, and the last thing I want to do is not respond to your comments. I just need to spend this time with my husband and our families.
October is my favorite time of the year so I will try to schedule in a few posts during the time I am unavailable. I have some spooky Friday posts planned! You all know how much I enjoy my horror games…
Speaking of horror games, have you seen Later Level’s Question of the Month post? This month I posed the question: In honor of Halloween, tell me what video game scared you the most. What is it about the elements, environments, music, or characters in the video game that scared you? Make sure to write up a post on your answer and leave a link in the comments of Later Levels’ post (not my post!) so I can read your answer and pick a winner before the end of the month.
Well, that’s it for this Spoilers! post. Be on the look out for spooky Halloween posts this month. I’ll be back after October 16th with your regular scheduled programming!
