Welcome to the sixth installment of Link Loves. This post is all about my favorite links of the week! It can include bloggers, articles, news, clothing, accessories, and other cool links I’m enjoying.
After my latest Convention Life post on frugal food, I saw a couple of my favorite bloggers had made their own convention posts with tips! The London Geek shares her top three con tips, and Awksnerd shares his own convention guide.
A good friend of mine in both the real world and the blogging world is writing an amazing YA Sci-Fi novel. I literally can’t wait for Mondays now! Here’s chapter one, part one and chapter one, part two of Dysontopia.
I thoroughly enjoyed this review of ‘It’s Spring Again’ from the Well-Red Mage. Not only did we get see a children’s game get a thorough review by a gamer parent, but we also got to see pictures of the cutest baby! I’m looking forward to more of Kal’s reviews.
I’ve been an avid reader of The Girl Who Sits for quite some time. I always find her posts enlightening, and this week she really knocked this one out of the park with her post Mutant and Proud: Disability Lessons from X-Men. “X-Men does a stellar job of discussing minority issues in general terms, but when we look at the literal issues that mutantkind faces, we can clearly see the likeness of mutants and people with disabilities.”
What are your favorite links this week? Do you have a new favorite blogger? Let me know in the comments!
You can’t wait for Mondays? Wow, that’s quite the accomplishment considering Mondays are the second worst day of the week. 🙂 Thanks for featuring my novel!
