If you’re participating in The Nerdy Girlie’s 5 Fandom Friday, you may have noticed a few of us have made some DLC’s to compliment the already lengthy blog prompt list courtesy of The Nerdy Girlie and Super Space Chick. You can check out my first DLC for 5 Fandom Friday: the GG Pack (the Geeky Gal Pack) which features this blog prompt!
Garden
A geeky directional sign is an easy DIY craft you can complete on a lazy Saturday or you can purchase one via NorthIdahoConcepts’ Etsy shop.
How about some wibbly wobbly stepping stones? Our Nerd Home created this awesome DIY project and take you step by step with creating your very own Gallifreyan stepping stones.
While these planters have a hefty price tag ($198 & $128), you can probably make your own using toy helmets or a 3D printer if you’re looking to save on some cash.
Throw Pillows
The secret to making your geek throw pillows “blend” with you current aesthetic, is to either pair them with similar colors already found in your furniture, curtains and decor or find them in neutrals and vintage materials to that they’ll match anywhere. I left my hearts in Gallifrey, Dumbledore quote, and Life is Strange Quote pillows would be fit for any living room or bedroom.
Gallery Wall
This DIY geeky gallery wall was featured on Apartment Therapy. Check out more photos here.
Create a cohesive gallery wall with matching prints. Get these from The Cottage Market for free!
Go crazy with color but keep the prints all the same size for a WOW gallery wall of your favorite fandoms.
Terrariums
Sprinkle these little terrariums through your home for a little greenery on top of your geek-ery. 😉 This little Doctor Who terrarium is from Violet Short at Blythe Ponytail Parades!
See more pictures of this Princess Mononoke Terrarium here!
Check out this awesome DIY Steven Universe terrarium here!
BB-8 is sadly sold out but check out DoodleBirdie’s Etsy shop for other Star Wars terrariums.
Candles
Mud in My Blood offers so many character candles and other HP inspired stuff. Check them out!
Visit GAMETEE’s online store to check out some video game inspired candles and other awesome stuff!
I can’t forget Fictitious Fragrances. This one of the few shops I’ve found that sell fandom wax melts! My favorites!
How do you incorporate geek into your home? What are your favorite shops and sellers? Tell me in the comments!
Such cute ideas!!! We struggle geeking up our home without displaying all our comics and action figures around the place!!!

We feel the same way! I’m working on a room for myself that I plan on displaying my figurines so that they’re not in anyone’s face when they come to visit our home.

I love that garden sign! We made something similar for a Halloween decoration once. Hmm…maybe we should make one like that!

I do too! I can’t wait for us to have a proper garden so we can do it too. 🙂

Yay! I’m glad you love them! And wax melts are the bomb. Rarely do I actually light candles anymore.

I think the stepping stones and the fragrance waxes are my favorite. I’m not a doctor who fan, but the possibilities are endless.
