If you’re like me, your phone is always at your side. You play your music on it, call your mom on it, watch funny cat videos on it. It’s a great tool for daily use, especially for me. I’m either sending a text, checking my calendar or putting in my meals to calorie count so my phone sees a lot of use. If I had to pick only five apps to have on my phone, it’d be these!
Recipes? Check. Outfits? Check. DIY? Check. Home decor? Check. Wedding? Check. Get everything and more with this app. I don’t know anyone who doesn’t already have an account, but if you don’t, you should. I can plan all my meals, find new ways to wear my clothes, create DIY crafts on the cheap, decorate my home, and plan my wedding from this app.
The only thing that got me through my first international flight? Harry Potter. I’m serious. I got through most of the book before we landed. I had never been on a plane before and took my first flight from Atlanta, GA to Philadelphia, PA then to Dublin, Ireland. The little hop from ATL to PHL went quickly. That overnight flight to Dublin was a bit rough. I felt sick and queasy and couldn’t sleep at all. Thank Loki for audio books.
My Fitness Pal
I have a big Spoilers! post planned to talk about my weight loss journey so far. MFP has been a big part of it. I’ll go into more detail in my Spoiler! post but this app allows to track your calories, exercise, water intake, weight, and more! If you’re active or trying to lose weight or maintain your current weight, My Fitness Pal is the best app you can get for free.
My fancy new car (it’s not really fancy, but it’s fancy to me!) has blue tooth and I love to use Amazon Music to play my homemade playlists in the car. There’s so many current and popular free albums. Panic! at the Disco’s Death of Bachelor is essentially on in my car at all times. I do switch it up sometimes with a band-specific station depending on my mood.
Goggle Docs is amazing. I use it to make grocery lists, keep up with blog post ideas, track my bills, make my monthly budget, make my wedding budget, and also track my wedding budget so far. I can download word documents and PDF’s straight to it and save them in the app.
What are your favorite apps? Let me know in the comments!
